However, when the reporter asked about Viostin DS, she said that they have been no longer circulating since early January 2018. Santi claimed that she did not know the reason why the owner doing that.
If anyone buys, Santi usually directs her customers to buy other types of supplement like Ostrimix. The new supplement contains glucosamine, chondroitin, dan MSM.
“It’s there instead for the joints too,” said her.
In addition, the reporteralso traced the existence of this two “haram” supplements in Sukun. However, the supplements were not found. “We already haven’t sold it,” said one of the employees on Nasional Street No. 23, Sukun.
Responding to this problem, the head of Malang City Health Office, Asih Tri Rachmi stated that they cannot make withdrawal of this supplement because it is the authority of BPOM. “We don’t have authority to do that,” said her.
Even so, in the near future she will make a circular so that the supplement distributors pull it from the pharmacies. Another step taken is to supervise. The results will be coordinated with BPOM. “We hope the distributor to withdraw it soon,” she concluded.
